Why logic board repair cost varies so much

The logic board is the device's central electrical system. It manages power distribution, storage communication, charging behavior, display output, touch response, wireless functions, and countless other processes. When it fails, the problem can be a single shorted capacitor, a damaged charging circuit, a failed touch IC, a corroded backlight line, a torn FPC connector, or multiple faults spread across the board.

If the answer sounds vague, the pricing probably is too.
